Issue/Introduction

How to assign specific permissions to non-Admin users in the EDR UI.

Environment

• EDR Server: 6.2.4 and Higher

Resolution

• The "Analyst" role was created in EDR Server 6.2.4 to allow users to operate within EDR without having to be full Administrators of the application. To apply Analyst permissions:

1. Create a new Team under "Users > Teams" and add relevant sensor groups under "Analyst".
2. Go to "Users > Users" and check the box for the new team for any users that should have this permission.

Additional Information

Creation of new users and teams, and assigning users to teams will need to be done by an Administrator.
