Are taxes included in my Azure Costs?

Issue/Introduction

Taxes are not included in Azure Costs as Azure does not add tax to the resource.  Taxes are applied to the subtotal on the invoice.

CloudHealth generates Azure cost the following way:

• Cost History Report uses the value(s) found in the "extended_cost" column on the cost drilldown.  The "extended_cost" metric is calculated using the following formula:  usage * rate card cost based on the currency
• Azure Rate Cards provide real-time prices for Azure offers, and all rates are pretax
• When reviewing an Azure bill/invoice, the tax is applied to the subtotal rather than the resource level
