Some dependencies don't show in Dependency Browser

Issue/Introduction

I am trying to view the Dependencies of an entity or a function that uses an inherited view, but this view does not appear in the Dependency Browser. How can I get the Dependency Browser to show all dependencies?

 

Environment

CA Plex 7.2.1 and higher

Cause

The view is implicit.

Resolution

It may be that the view that is missing is an implicit (not Real) object. If an object appears in the Object Browser with a gray icon, it means that it is an implicit object and it will not be displayed in the Dependency Browser. To avoid this problem, make the object real by selecting the object in the Object Browser, right click, and then select "Make Real..." from the Tools menu.
