Issue/Introduction

This is likely due to the appropriate permissions not being set in the custom role.

Resolution

If the user who has been assigned with a custom role is unable to add email under action in a policy, then we might need to check if the permission is enabled under the following:

  1. Navigate to Setup>Admin>Roles
  2. Edit the role in question
  3. Go to setup and expand
  4. Under governance choose automated actions and enable the below permissions:

- Create Action Config
- Read Action Config
