Issue/Introduction

 Spot savings is not typically included under "EC2 Savings."

Resolution

EC2 Savings usually refers to the savings achieved by using Reserved Instances (RIs) and Savings Plans (SPs) compared to paying for the same EC2 usage at the On-Demand rate.

Spot Instances, on the other hand, are a separate pricing model offered by AWS that allows users to bid on unused EC2 capacity at a lower price.  The savings achieved through Spot Instances are not typically included in the calculation of EC2 Savings, as it focuses on RIs and SPs specifically.
