Issue/Introduction

For some big channel customers, cost reports may be behind more than 48 hours and this delay is likely within our performance expectations for Partner Generated Billing (PGB).  The platform may have partial data for T-2 days due to a combination of factors.

Specifically, this is due to the timeframe for receiving AWS cost data at the Partner end, Generating the PGB processed Cost and Usage Report (CUR) data for channel customers, and the nightly processing job run by CloudHealth each day.

Resolution

For example, bill processing started on the 28th of March.  When the nightly processing job begins it will fetch different billing artifacts to process.  The platform will likely pick a competed Partner CUR collected on 26th March which will have partial channel customer cost.  The data will appear in the channel customer tenant as partial data for the 26th of March (i.e. T-2) and full cost data for 25th of March (T-3).
