How to manually map existing users to Usergroups, and FlexOrgs

Resolution

Usergroups allow both manual users, and SSO users to be mapped manually once the user has signed in for the first time.

In order to do so please follow these steps:

 

1. Navigate to Setup -> Admin -> Usergroups 
2. Select the Usergroup you wish to map the user to and switch to the Members tab
3. Select the Add Members option in the top right corner.
   
   
   
   
4. Within the pane that opens select your user and select Confirm in the top right.

This will manually map the user to the Usergroup, manual assignments supersede assignments via SSO attributes, and can be used to assign a user if they aren't passing the correct attribute via SSO currently, and to maintain their access in the case an attribute or value for an attribute is removed for the user as the IDP level.
