Changes to Saved Reports/Policies/Dashboards/Perspectives after Deleting a User from the CloudHealth Platform

Issue/Introduction

  • Any perspective created by a user will persist and be functional in the platform after their user account is deleted.
  • Policies created by the user will be deleted.
  • Historical policy notifications will remain after user deletion. Dashboards/Notifications/Policies
  • Private reports and their associated subscriptions will be removed.
  • Public reports and their associated subscriptions will transfer ownership to whomever deleted the user.
  • User defined Dashboards will be deleted. You can request from CloudHealth Support to set those dashboards as public. 

Private Reports and Subscriptions prior to the users removal can be copied by providing the report link to an existing user, and having them resave the report, and set the subscription back up. 

Policies can be copied by another active user prior to deleting the user that owns those policies, this will ensure that the policies are retained.
