Removing an account from the CloudHealth platform will sever any communication to the platform, and all assets contained within that account will no longer receive metadata updates.
It is highly advised not to delete accounts in the CloudHealth platform if you can avoid it. If there is a situation where an account was removed and then reconfigured, it's very important to note that some of the settings and primary keys will change, which will result in inconsistencies and potentially missing data if not updated and reconfigured properly.
NOTE: Reports will continue to maintain the deleted account, and this data cannot be removed by CloudHealth due to compliance reasons. Archives are never updated once they are archived - the costs will exist as they were shown at the end of the archive month. This means that deleted account data will still appear in historical archived reports.
