Issue/Introduction
Automatic Refresh for AWS Cost and Usage Report (a.k.a. "CUR Refresh") is functionality that once enabled will automatically update the AWS CUR file with any data changes that take place after a month closes.
It is highly encouraged that CUR refresh is activated for all accounts configured within CloudHealth to ensure cost data is accurate.
Resolution
CUR Refresh has very important implications to the way CloudHealth receives and presents data as AWS is known to make changes to their CUR files after the initial close of a month. This includes charges associated to the marketplace as well as credits that may not be attributed to the bill until 2-3 weeks after the close of a month.
Also note that once CUR refresh is activated, it is not retroactive, so previous months may still show incorrect cost data. Data for prior months will only update within CloudHealth when a change to a CUR file is detected.
