Visualizing Data/Querying

Product edition: All

Feature Category: Query, Charts, Y-Axis

Problem Description:
Query is showing "Values <= 0 filtered due to log scale plotting" and Chart shows "No Data"

Cause:
Charts that do not have skewed or outlying data will show this message if the Y-Axis is configured with Logarithmic.  If you do not have these outliers it is recommended to use the default Linear configuration.

Resolution:

Review the data you are working with to determine if Logarithmic is needed or if Linear is the better option.

If there's a large difference in measurement scale, use the logarithmic scale and configure the scale specific to your data patterns.  By default, the logarithmic scale is set to the power of 10.
