AWS bills span the first to the last day of each calendar month.
You’ll typically see that your bill will finalize within the first 5-7 days of the following month. For example, you will notice that your August bill may show as finalized on September 5th.
You’re able to check within CloudHealth if your bill has finalized by navigating as follows:
AWS > Reports > Costs > Statements
You’ll notice that the August statement shows with an Invoice ID, whilst the September bill (which the platforms will treat as the current month) shows as currently ‘Estimated’.
