Issue/Introduction

‘Base Margin %’ is something that can be configured within the CloudHealth platform on the Partner Settings area of the Setup > Admin > Settings page:

Resolution

From this page, you’re able to enter a % of your choice.

The ‘Base Margin Percentage’ allows you to add an additional charge on top of your customers total spends.  For example, if you charge an additional 10% on a customers bill, you could enter in the ‘Base Margin Percentage’ a value of 10.0 to match this additional charge.

Be advised that ‘Base Margin Percentage’ is only visible on the Partner > Customers > List page and refer the below screenshot identifying where the margin % increase would be visible:

The main use of this functionality is to be able to quickly reference how much margin to add to a customer during an invoicing run.  You will not see this ‘Base Margin Percentage’ be added to your customers' statements.
