How does the platform convert currency for the Azure Customer List page in the Partner Platform?

Issue/Introduction

Within the Partner Platform there is a Customer List page that shows all the Customer Tenants created by the Partner - https://apps.cloudhealthtech.com/msp/msp_clients

When you pull in the columns to look at Last Months/MTD/YTD cloud costs, they all show up in USD.

For Azure, the platform is not actually doing currency conversion in the platform from the billing currency into USD – Microsoft actually provides the USD rate.

 

For Modern Commerce (Azure Plan/MCA), bills come in billingCurrency and USD (both CSP and PAYG costs).  The platform uses the USD cost column (either CSP or PAYG depending on how the partner customer is configured).

For Classic CSP, bills are just usage and the platform applies an appropriate currency rate card - here the platform applies the USD rate card to the usage (either CSP or PAYG depending on how the partner customer is configured).
