Issue/Introduction

HCI is supported as long as there is a vCenter Server that manages the vSphere cluster, running at least vCenter Server v5.5.

Resolution

Hyperconverged Infrastructure (HCI) combines compute, virtualization, storage, and networking in a single clustered solution.

If the HCI solution is built on VMware vSphere, then the platform aggregator can be deployed and treats the HCI solution just like any other VMware deployment.

VMware-based HCI vendors include:
