Issue/Introduction

MAP credits will fall under either the Charge Type "Refund" or "Service Credit".

Resolution

Below is additional information related to MAP credits:

• MAP credits are applied after other discounts
• MAP credits are awarded at a percentage of net incremental spend on migrated workloads. Credits are calculated quarterly based on a quarterly trailing twelve months spend on migrated workloads (i.e. workloads which have been launched and correctly tagged)
• AWS works out MAP credits based on the customer tagging their new services correctly with the appropriate MAP tag
