Issue/Introduction

Here are the details of the billing buckets that you can configure for the platform to use:

  1. CUR bucket - There will be a folder representing each month.  Within each monthly folder there will be between 1-3 folders per day depending on when AWS generates and drops a new CUR into the billing bucket (AWS can update the report up to 3 times a day) and a manifest file.
Each folder will contain a Cost and Usage Report (CUR) compressed by GZIP and a manifest file.

  2. DBR bucket - Depending on how the DBR has been configured, there should be 3 files in the bucket for DBR:
      • Monthly Report CSV
      • Cost Allocation Report CSV
      • Detailed Billing Report with resources and tags ZIP
  3. PGB bucket (Partner Customers only) - This bucket contains all the Partner Generated Billing (PGB) statements that we have written during PGB processing.
CloudHealth doesn't pull from the PGB bucket, it is monitored for bucket data to do a parity check between CH version and partner's bucket version.
Most files/folders should be prefix with whatever has been configured in the Customer List (https://apps.cloudhealthtech.com/msp/msp_clients).
    After the prefix
    • CURs: should have the report path/report name/month/curs
    • Statements: should flow under the prefix (both partner statements and billing CSVs)
