Issue/Introduction

The total cost columns generally represent a roll up of other more specific cost columns that can be represented: 

Total Cost = EC2 Total Cost + EBS Total Cost

EC2 Total Cost is made up of several other EC2 specific cost types. EC2 Compute Cost will reflect Savings Plan, Reservation discounts and Spot Instance discount where they have been applied to an Instance within the current month.

EBS Total Cost is made up of several EBS specific cost types.  The Cost Columns within the Instance Hours report follow the following structure:
