Issue/Introduction

Is VIP Authentication Hub installation on Nutanix Karbon/NKE 2.9, which runs Kubernetes v1.26 supported?

 

Resolution

Our latest version 3.1, the support starts with K8s 1.27 (1).

The latest VIP Authentication Hub version 3.1.1 is supported from Kubernetes 1.27 (1).

All Kubernetes implementations based on the standard Kubernetes distribution are essentially the same, Nutanix Karbon/NKE is supported under as standard a "Best Effort" statement, similar to the "LDAP Reasonable Commercial Effort Statement" (1).

The differences across the different vendors of Kubernetes packages are in the areas of integration with network LBRs and block storage. Those are typically field-tested except for standardized CSP platforms.
