Issue/Introduction
The Allocation is not distributed evenly among the selected periods when the view options are changed from Periods to Duration.
Steps to Reproduce:
Login to MUX
Configure the Unit of Measure as Hours from settings in the MUX
Navigate to any project in MUX and access the Staff tab
Configure the View Options as shown below Periods: Weeks, Type: Periods, Start Period: Apr 08 2024, End Period: Apr 22 2024, Totals: Sum of Periods
Update the Totals Allocation as 90
Observe that 90 is distributed evenly among the 3 periods with 30 hours each
Now configure the View options again as shown below. Change the Type as Duration, Start period as Apr 01 2024, Number of periods as 5
The number of per-periods metrics available in the view are 5 periods now starting from Apr 01 2024 to Apr 29 2024
Update the Total Allocation to 60
Expected Results: The allocation hours 60 should be distributed from the complete duration i.e. for 5 periods in the view from Apr 01 2024 to Apr 29 2024
Actual Results: The allocation hours 60 gets distributed among the periods selected in the previous view i.e. for 3 periods from Apr 08 2024, End Period: Apr 22 2024
Configure the column Per-Period Metrics - Allocation from columns fly out
