Steps to upgrade the SSLv appliance from S550-5 to S550-10

Environment

 Symantec SSL Visibility (SSLv)

Resolution

  1. Login to Broadcom Support Portal and select the division Cyber Security Software
  2. Click on the My Entitlements Click on the appropriate appliance type for the concerned serial number.
  3. Click on the License button for the corresponding appliance serial number



  4. Activate the upgrade license and link the available targeted Upgrade Part to the appliance



  5. Download the license after the newly added/linked with the Upgrade. 
  6. Load license to the SSLv appliance. the appliance should display 550-10 now.
