deprecated probes still present after upgrade to UIM 20.4 CU7 or higher

Issue/Introduction

I have recently upgraded my UIM system from UIM 20.4 CU5 or prior to CU7 or higher.

Some deprecated probes are still present which I thought should have been removed:

ace

trellis

udm_manager

Can I delete them?  Why didn't they get deleted automatically?

Environment

UIM 20.4 CU6 or higher upgraded from CU5 or prior

Resolution

The deprecated probes were removed in CU6 and it is the CU6 installer which removes them during the upgrade.

If you upgraded from an earlier release and skipped CU6 then the probes will be left behind.   For example, 20.4 CU5->CU7  or 20.4 GA->CU10.

It is safe to manually delete these probes.
