Is address space MIMQUERY necessary?
When I ACTIVATE FEATURE=(MIMQUERY), I get message that MIMQUERY address space failed to initialize, but DISPLAY FEATURE command shows MIMQUERY is active.
Failure to define MIMQUERY proc to system PROCLIB concatenation or some other problem. Review system log for potential messages.
Yes...A successful implementation will result in an active MIMQUERY Address space.
(Note: A backlog story is opened to fix the display showing this feature active even though it did not successfully initialize)
Once the proc is properly defined, the MIMQUERY address space can be restarted by issuing command: F MIMGR,MIMQUERY START
Alternatively, a DEACTIVATE command can be issued by another ACTIVATE command.
Under normal operation, nothing needs to be done manually nor is any setup needed within automation to control the MIMQUERY task. Assuming the FEATURE statement is defined in the MIM INIT member. MIM will handle the startup and shutdown automatically.
