MongoDB - Latest version no longer supports SNMP - what options exist?

Issue/Introduction

The latest version it no longer sends SNMP traps to Spectrum for alerting.

Currently, Ops Manager webhook only supports HMAC-SHA-1 signature which can be provided in the format of a secret key. Therefore, it is not possible to provide a user/password in Ops Manager webhook.

 

What options do we have to send alerts to Spectrum?

Resolution

Spectrum does not support this type of signature authentication.  Suggested to use an alternate source that would then forward the message to Spectrum.
