How to create an alarm filter in Oneclick to prevent specific alarms (related to specific devices) to not be displayed in console?

Issue/Introduction

This article explains how to prevent some alarms related to some specific devices to be displayed in Oneclick console/webapp.

Environment

Any Spectrum supported version

Resolution

The solution consists on:

- Create a Global collection with the related/desired devices;

- Create an alarm filter in Oneclick console/webapp as below:

 

In this example:

banana - global collection name
0x10009 - cause code of "DEVICE HAS RESWPONDING TO POLLS" alarm
0x10701 - cause code of "MANAGEMENT AGENT LOST" alarm
0x5c40010, 0x5c40011 and 0x5c40012 - cause codes of the "Threshold Violation" alarms coming from PM (minor, major and critical)
