Planning to automate the configuration of Policy Server on Linux version, from the sm.registry file data, can the spaces between the "=" and the ";" character can be removed?
It seems that removing those spaces doesn't harm the Policy Server runtime. The Policy Server also starts fine.
The space characters are retained for the purpose of visibility.
Thus, the Automation process can trim the spaces before and after the registry value and it won't impact any Policy Server functionality.
Only note that after trimming the space, when editing the sm.registry using the "Policy Server Management Console" (smconsole), then the space character will be again added to the sm.registry file.
