USS file system not mounted or wrong mount point specified.
A common cause of the SHELL SCRIPT errors is that either the USS file system created during the BASE INSTALL of the product is not MOUNTED. Or, a customer specified the MOUNT POINT for the USS file system incorrectly. To that end, initial questions & suggestions are:
- Determine what specific ZFS file system was used for your BASE install of View\Deliver.
- Is that file system mounted on the system you are running the APPLY on?
- Take a look at FILE ALLOCATION REPORT in your apply output. If your path to CCAFHFBN ends with /CA/ - Example: '/broadcom/view/webviewer/CA/'
* Then you need to make sure that the correct file system is mounted before you run the APPLY.
- When you mount the CCAFHFBN file system, you MUST specify the MOUNT POINT as: /broadcom/view/webviewer/
* (i.e. DO NOT INCLUDE the /CA/ at the end of the mount point specification).
Example:
Assuming that "<yoursys>.<omvs>.BROADCOM.ZFS" is the correct ZFS file system, from the View\Deliver base install, then the CORRECT mount point for this USS file system would be specified as: /broadcom/view/webviewer/

- Using the above guidelines, get the correct USS file system mounted on the system you are running the APPLY job on, and make sure you have specified the correct MOUNT POINT for that file system.
- Then try rerunning the APPLY.
