Issue/Introduction

How to enable ESX temperature monitoring from UIM?

Environment

UIM 20.4 CU9 and later

vmware probe version 7.20 and later

Resolution

By default temperature is not monitored by vmware probe.

check with their vmware admin if temperature sensors are enabled or not in vsphere for the ESX servers.

Enable the  temperature sensors  in vsphere for the ESX servers. These new monitors are not supported as Static monitors.
