Issue/Introduction

After starting an import in Identity Governance in the 14.x Environment. The following error was thrown when progress reached 80%:

Environment

Resolution

Try one of the four suggestions below to fix this issue:

  1. Under SQL Server Management Studio set the Maximum File Size under options for Altiris database to Unrestricted File Growth.

  2. Increase the Restricted File Growth (MB) size to a larger value creating space for transaction logs to grow.

  3. Shrink the log files from the task. Right-click Search_Service_DB, go to Tasks -> Shrink -> Shrink Files.  Select a File type of Log, then Shrink.

  4. Move the Existing Transaction log files to a different location to work around this.


NOTE: Please make sure you have a fresh and full backup of the Database before following the above suggestion. Kindly follow the steps only with the assistance of your DBA team.
