Issue/Introduction

Generally, when connecting to a cluster, one uses the FQDN associated to the VIP of the cluster

Despite this, at the bottom of the PAM Client or browser there is information about the node name as well as the site name that it belongs to

The question is whether this behaviour can be changed to display just the cluster name, effectively hiding what node the connection has been made to

Environment

CA PAM all versions as of 4.1.7

Resolution

This is working as designed and there is no way to display just the cluster name or VIP. These may be displayed in the address bar if connecting via browser- for instance- from a load balancer and using the FQDN of the VIP, but at the bottom of the screen, once logged in, one will always have the information of what node he is connected to and which site it belongs to
