Cannot create Alerting rule: org.springframework.orm.hibernate3.HibernateJdbcException

Issue/Introduction

When creating an Alertng rule from Univiewer Console, the message below showed up.

On environment [UJCENT/<UVMS NODE>/X]:
New Job Alerting Rule on :<UVMS NODE>
org.springframework.orm.hibernate3.HibernateJdbcException

 

In the Univiewer Management Server log(uvserver.log), the message below is present.

ERROR| request-worker-228 | org.hibernate.util.JDBCExceptionReporter | An SQL data change is not permitted for a read-only connection, user or database.
ERROR| request-worker-228 | org.hibernate.event.def.AbstractFlushingEventListener | Could not synchronize database state with session
org.hibernate.exception.GenericJDBCException: Could not execute JDBC batch update
    at org.hibernate.exception.SQLStateConverter.handledNonSpecificException(SQLStateConverter.java:140)
    at org.hibernate.exception.SQLStateConverter.convert(SQLStateConverter.java:128)

 

Environment

Product: CA Automic Dollar Universe, Univiewer Management Server

Cause

The server where Univiewer Management Server is installed had file system full.

Resolution

-Make sure to free up some space on the file system used by the Univiewer Management Server 

-Stop and restart Univiewer Management Server
