Issue/Introduction

When viewing  the events relative to Password View Requests, a lot of entries by user PVRPROC are observed

The question is what exactly is that user and what it does

Environment

CA PAM all versions

Resolution

PVRPROC stands for PASSWORD_VIEW_REQUEST_PROCESSOR_USERNAME

It is used by the background Password View Request Processor which runs on the master site of the primary and which takes master events that have timed out and expires them.

It deletes all events that are older than the delete interval regardless of what state they are in. This is how CA PAM clears events that go to A2A clients that no longer exist
