Hierarchies aggregation metric for Planned Benefit Actual shows 0

Issue/Introduction

In Hierarchies in MUX, when creating an aggregation metric using the Planned Actual Benefit for the source it only shows 0 value.

 

STR:

 

1. Make sure you have at least 2 projects that have cost plans.

2. Create benefit plans for these projects with benefit and actual benefit values populated

3. Link these benefit plans to their cost plans

          Above steps can be done in Claaic or MUX

4.  In MUX create a Hierarchy

     - Include these 2 projects

4a.  Make one project a child of the other so they are parent and child

     - You can either do this on the grid by making one have a parent on link them on the hierarchy page to make a parent/child relationship

5. In the hierarchy go to the timeline view under Options

       Click on Manage Metrics to create a new metric

         Metric formula  is 

                Metric Based On = Planned Actual Benefit

               Aggregation Scope = Self and Children

   6. Add this metric to the columns

   Add the OOTB Column for Planned Actual Benefit so you can view the two

   

   Expected Result:  The metric rolls up

   Actual Result: The metric shoes 0

 

   Workaround:  None

Reported as DE80151

Resolution

DE80151 and fixed in 16.2.2

 

 

The Time Slicing Sync will need to run, for existing records if still no values run the job with the Force option.
