Symantec VIP Desktop Access 2.2.5 failing to launch after installing with SCCM

Cause

This error is due to missing prerequisite software of 'Microsoft Visual C++ 2012 Redistributable'

Resolution

Microsoft Visual C++ 2012 Redistributable is included in the VIP Desktop Application files downloadable from the VIP Manager 

VIP Manager > Account > Download Files > VIP Access Desktop > Windows > VIPAccess_2_2_5.zip

• The specific install file is then located in: Client Install Files 2_2_5\VIP_Redistributables\ISSetupPrerequisites\{8D61397C-2AD6-4210-8E43-C2793010DC35}\vcredist_x64.exe
