Issue/Introduction

A new Jaspersoft server has been installed. The Clarity version is 16.1.3. The Jaspersoft version is 8.1.1. When importing content into this new server is attempted, with the following command, it produces the error mentioned below.

Command used:

admin content-jaspersoft csk -userName superuser -password superuser

Error obtained:

ERROR com.ca.jasper.restAdapter.JasperRestAdapter - Error: A JSONObject text must begin with '{' at 29 [character 9 line 13]
Cannot import content on same release, use force flag to import. Skipping import.

Environment

Clarity 16.1.3

Jaspersoft 8.1.1

Cause

Characters after 'reportservice' in the 'Reporting' tab of the CSA.

Resolution

The 'Reporting' tab of the CSA should mention the Jaspersoft URL only till 'reportservice'. That is, it should be of the form 'http(s)://JaspersoftServer:PortNumber/reportservice'.
