Issue/Introduction

After upgrade to SCM v14.5 we are having trouble checking out files with a "DSX" extension.  All others check out with no problems.

The DSX file checks in successfully as a branch version.  We merge the branch to make a new trunk.  Then when checking out, it fails with an I/O error.  How can we check out this file?

HServer log shows errors similar to this:

<date> <time> | Start EXECUTE_CHECKOUT   /pt_HClient://<client host>/<client pid>
...
-- SEND OBJIDMessage:   HSRV_E_FA <client host>\\<path and file name> I/O operation failed

Resolution

An EFix was provided.  If you encounter this same problem, please contact support.
