Control Compliance Suite (CCS)
When running a CER (Collection-Evaluation-Reporting) job in CCS you get the following warning:
'The standard <standard_name> cannot be evaluated against the asset <asset_name>, either because the data is not collected or because the latest data collection has failed for this asset-standard pair'
CCS 12.6.X
CCS 12.7
That message is a warning that the 'Evaluation' portion of the CER (Collection-Evaluation-Reporting) job is not able to perform an evaluation because the data 'collection' portion of the CER job failed, so this evaluation warning can be ignored. You will get this warning every time on a CER job where the data collection failed.
There should be a separate row with 'Error' in the Category column that gives the information on why the data collection failed, and that is the important information. Once that data collection error is resolved, the Evaluation warning will go away as well.
Another option to have CCS not report the Evaluation warning message is to run only a 'data collection' job on the asset to see what error is reported on why the data collection failed. Since a data collection job does not run an Evaluation job after it completes, you will not get the Evaluation warning message and will only see the error with the information on why the data collection failed.
