In 16.2.1 01 the assignments TSV is not honoring the values in the correct units format for non-labor resources. Material resources should only show in FTE in Classic.
However, if the value is edited for one period, the result converts and does not hold the value you entered.
In MUX it is correct.
Note as well that allocations for material resources do seem to work in classic.
STR:
1. Create or use a Material resource and add it to a project's staff
2. Does not matter if MUX settings are set to FTE, material resources should use only one unit of measure.
3. Add your resource to a staff and enter values into per-period metrics
- You can use 1 for each period
4. Create a task and add this resource as an assignment
5. Give some ETC in per-period metrics
6. In Classic it does not matter what your DEFAULT DISPLAY UNIT FOR WORK EFFORT is set to as material should stay the same.
7. Go to the same project/task/assignment in classic that you used in MUX
8. Make your TSV set to months - or match the period type that is in MUX
9. Check the assignments in the TSV
- It should match MUX
10. Now change the assignment for one period and enter 2 and click save
Expected Result: The value you enter saves.
Actual Result: This value for this period converts to another value (hours?) while the rest of the periods still show as defined.
Workaround: Use MUX to edit assignments for material type resources
