Issue/Introduction

A notification appears on the Security Analytics graphical user interface (GUI):
Please Note: The current throughput license (in TB/day) has been exceeded. If this is a regular occurrence, the license throughput allowance should be increased.

Environment

Security Analytics version 8.2.5 and previous

Resolution

Security Analytics conducts daily checks on the capture rate to ensure validity. The process follows these rules:

• If the license usage in gigabytes (GB) is less than the average GB used per day, the alert is cleared.
• If the license usage in GB exceeds the average GB used per day, the alert persists until the next check.

If your capture rate consistently surpasses the licensed usage, we recommend reaching out to the sales team to explore increasing the license quota
