ASM account is not showing the OPMS installation menu in UI

Issue/Introduction

ASM OPMS installation menu missing for ASM account.

when put the username as "ASM master account" it redirects to the SAML page and login is successful.

But after login, the left link "On-Premise - Stations" is missing.

Cause

It looks like ASM login is integrated with the SAML. Based on SAML configuration, the SAML login as SAML user and not as "ASM master account".

Resolution

Take following steps to grant parent impersonation to SAML account as follows:

Give SAML account permission "Grant parent impersonation" under "ASM master account".

logout and login again.

If after logging again it is showing for SAML account with an option "log in as parent" in the user name submenu.

"log in as parent" can be selected to switch to "ASM master account" 

once login as is complete, the OPMS, the left link "On-Premise - Stations" menu option should be available to install the OPMS.
