Error after installing 12.52 CR 10 agent from a Windows 19 server

Issue/Introduction

The customer uninstalled the Web Agent manually removed any references to SiteMinder from the Modules, ISAPI and web config files. After an IIS restart and server reboot, an error persists. The "The Module DLL D:\Program Files\CA\webagent\win64\bin\IIS7WebAgent.dll failed to load.  The data is the error." appears in the application system log.

Cause

The Web Agent Modules are referenced in the applicationHost.config and also need to be removed from this location. As the file is central to the Web Server's configuration, and other software may modifications, the entries are often left behind even after installing the product.

Resolution

The default location of this file is C:\Windows\System32\inetsrv\Config\applicationHost.config

Remove any references to the Web Agent modules like IIS7WebAgent.dll.
