Issue/Introduction

Need information about the LOAD TIMESTAMP in the FAQS Startup file.

Environment

FAQS 5.1, z/VSE 6.2

Resolution

The LOAD TIMESTAMP is when the Startup file was last loaded during a FAQS Startup (IPL).

When an IPL is done and FAQS is started is when the Startup file is LOADED.

There is a message displayed on the console to indicate this:

GFF192 STARTUP FILE VSEPROD LOADING..

The time shown in the AO I.G directory is the time that this load took place. If it the date and time is all zeros then there has been a change to the Startup file but has not yet been used in an IPL. If there is a date and time, this is the date and time that FAQS was started - i.e. when the IPL took place.

The UPDATE TIMESTAMP is when the Startup file was last updated (PF5).

The LOAD TIMESTAMP is when the Startup file was last loaded during a FAQS Startup (IPL).
