Issue/Introduction

In Vapp 14.5. a form that has a custom plugin to get values from the Oracle database throwing  an Error: non-supported character set (add orai18n.jar in your classpath)

Environment

Vapp 14.5

Cause

Issue observed after upgrading the IDM Environment version from 14.4.2 to 14.5

Resolution

  1. Download orai18n.jar from the Oracle website:
    https://www.oracle.com/database/technologies/appdev/jdbc-ucp-19c-downloads.html
  2. Search from all locations of ojdbc8.jar and then copy the orai18n.jar to the same locations.
  3. Re-run the Configuration Wizard
