VMWARE probe: Collection time is longer than poll time

Issue/Introduction

vmware probe does not collect all monitors and generates a 'Polling interval was less than the collection time' alarm

Error captured in the vmware.log

Caused by: java.io.EOFException

at java.util.zip.GZIPInputStream.readUByte(GZIPInputStream.java:268)

at java.util.zip.GZIPInputStream.readUShort(GZIPInputStream.java:258)

at java.util.zip.GZIPInputStream.readHeader(GZIPInputStream.java:164)

at java.util.zip.GZIPInputStream.<init>(GZIPInputStream.java:79)

Environment

Any vmware probe version

Cause

Error indicates that the template is suspect (corrupted)

Resolution

1. Delete the vmware probe from IM or Admin Console

2. Delete the vmware probe folder

3. Redeploy the vmware probe 

4. Add the vmware probe source and recreated the template
