Issue/Introduction

Entities are not being displayed on the Capacity Analytics page.

After restarting DX Platform, the entities load again but after some time the problem happens again:

Environment

DX Platform on premise any release.

Cause

This happens due to the large number of services/groups assigned to be shown.

Resolution

1) Reduce the number of services/groups selected to be shown.

2) Increase the clamp size from DX platform service by doing:

• Go into the POD doi-cpa-ng
• Add the field and values of:
  • TAS_EXTERNAL_ID_CLAMP_SIZE
  • Value= "25000"
• Restart the POD.

The default value is 20k.

Additional Information

Any other action regarding adding more entities to the DX OI view must be discussed with the Broadcom Support/Development team to avoid any performance impact If changes by themselves.
