ConnectALL ALM is not preserving comment authors when getting synched from another system

Issue/Introduction

When getting comments from another system, the original comments in ALM do not have their usernames preserved.  This worked correctly in 2.11.

 

Steps to reproduce

Set up a 3.2+ environment

Configure an ALM connection and a Jira connection

Create an automation to synch comments between the two systems

Create a comment in ALM and let it synch over to Jira

Now create a comment in Jira and synch the comment over

 

Expected Behavior:

Comment authors are preserved in ALM

 

Actual Behavior:

Comment authors are replaced with the name of the synch user

Resolution

DE80068 has been filed for this and the issue will be resolved in the 3.4 release of ConnectALL
