Issue/Introduction

The deployment of the upgrade package to Dollar Universe stays in in "Upload in Progess" status.

 

Additional information:

When an update package is used to upgrade Dollar Universe, the installation is transferred from the Univiewer Management Server to the server where Dollar Universe is installed. The status of transfer could stay "Upload in progress" if there's any network latency between the servers.

Environment

Product: Dollar Universe v6.x, 7.x , Univiewer Management Server v6.x, 7.x

Cause

Network latency

Resolution

-Stop and restart UVMS. The status may still remain in "Upload in progress" but please just ignore it
 
-Stop $U and upgrade it manually
 
-Restart $U
