Staffing tabs are slow or causing performance issues

Issue/Introduction

Staffing tabs in MUX, specifically Allocations by Investment, Allocations by Resource, Assignments by Investment and  Assignments by Resource are slow when ran wide open or with many results in filter. Some of the database queries may be causing bottlenecks and overall slow performance

Resolution

• There were multiple iterations of performance enhancements on Staffing tabs:
• Staffing - Allocation by Investment causes database bottleneck and slow performance fixed in 16.2.0 and 16.1.3.2
• Staffing tabs and Staff Grid performance in 16.1.3 fixed in 16.2.x and backported to 16.1.3.4
• Enhancements in how the fields are retrieved were added to 16.2.0 and 16.2.1
• Data Loading pagination widget enhancement added as part of 16.2.2
• Also, some residual SQL curve slowness during FTE conversion is going to be worked on for 16.2.2 as part of Staffing performance is slow (16.2.1+)
• If you face any Staffing issues, we highly recommend upgrading to the latest possible release where you would benefit from the most of the fixes and enhancements we have added
