Dx Gateway does not allow to connect to SDM

Issue/Introduction
DX Gateway shows the following errors when trying to connect Service Desk Manager
Logs/incidentmanager.log:
ERROR c.c.d.i.n.NextGenNimMdrConfigAction - unable to clone the MDR , Check the NIM Configuration again

No error in the SDM logs.
Environment
Service Desk Manager 17.x
DX Gateway / DX OI 23.1
Cause
Integration to SDM from DX OI is supported out of the box, without DX Gateway.
Resolution
Configure the integration to SDM from DX OI 23.1or later(SaaS and On Premise) directly, without using DX Gateway.
