Patch Remediation Center shows too many bulletins needing Manual Download

Issue/Introduction

Customer migrated to a new system recently, and is seeing a lot of Packages that are Manually Download.  Out of 6700 rows in the Patch Remediation Center (PRC), 4800 of them show as Manual Download. 

After running the steps below, customer had only 1800 Manual Downloads which is closer to what their Dev environment had.

Resolution

Go to Manage > Jobs and Tasks, System Jobs and Tasks > Patch Management > Import Patch Data for Windows

1. Uncheck the Incremental Import option
2. Click Save
3. Click Start Now

This will start a new running task.  Watch this complete, and when done check the Incremental Import option and Save. 

This process should update any corruption in the existing Patch Data for Windows and show less packages as needing a Manual Download.
